St. Patrick's Day Breakfast

3 more days until St. Patrick's Day--Saturday, March 17th!
Are you celebrating?  Will you be wearing green?
Here's a quick and easy way to pull off a fun St. Patrick's Day Celebration for the family...
A GREEN Breakfast!

STEP 1:  Gather up your green decor and set the table.
Green beads, shamrocks, candies, napkins...anything green!

STEP 2:  Cut up all green fruit.
Honeydew melon, kiwi, green grapes, etc.

STEP 3:  Add green food coloring to your waffle mix.
How fun is this?  Make the waffle batter of your choice and stir in the green food coloring.
Bake waffles and top with a dollop of whipped cream and green sprinkles.

STEP 4:  Pour a green drink.  Add a green straw too.
Green Kool-Aid, a green sports drink or even a green smoothie would work!

STEP 5:  Jazz up each plate with a Peppermint Pattie Pop!

STEP 6:  Sit down with the family and enjoy this simple, fun meal.
The person not wearing green has to do the dishes!  Ha!

*Other green things to add:
Potatoes O'Brien (chopped up potatoes with green peppers) and
Green Eggs and Ham (scrambled eggs with ham and green food coloring).

Enjoy!
