Ice Cream Social in a Box! --Teacher Gift

Here's a 'COOL' gift to give!

Ice Cream Social in a Box.  (Just add the ice cream!)
Here's how we made ours.

Using packing boxes we had around the house,
I wrapped each box with bright red polka dot paper.

I wanted the box to be able to open and close, without needing to rip off the paper...
so, I had to use quite a bit of paper and tape to cover the entire thing--inside and out.

I used my tiny Bagettes (mini ziplocs- found at Michaels in the jewelry section)
to hold the sprinkles.
Bigger ziplocs and cellophane bags were used to hold the other goodies.

I bought lots of different cones on sale at my local grocery store and packaged them up.

Here's all the goodies.

After packing everything in our wrapped boxes,
we placed a $10. Baskin Robbins gift certificate on top.

I punched a hole in the top flaps of the box and threaded ribbon through.
A double knot held it secure.

I tied the ribbon into a bow and added a tag.

How cute is this for the 'Sundae' School Teacher?  (Get it?)

And here's one for my son's 4th grade teacher.

Don't you just love a gift that can be enjoyed by the entire family?
Hope you find time for an ice cream social this Christmas!
