Ready to see our Candy Cane Party decor?
A sheet was hung on the wall to provide a white backdrop.
I used those amazing Command hooks and stuck them to the wall.
Perfect for draping a sheet temporarily.
The cupcake garland was created from an idea I saw on this great blog-
Homespun with Love.
I used cupcake liners from IKEA and Wilton and threaded them with Baker's twine.
The old window came from this post.

I wrapped up my daughter's birthday gifts in red and white striped wrapping paper found at IKEA. Red ribbon from Costco.
The little sacks were found at IKEA.
The mini bags hold red mittens, chocolates
and candy canes...of course.

Red mittens found at Michaels.
Sparkly red letter stickers, round tags and baker's twine
were found at Joanns.

I decorated a mini tree with red ball ornaments,
red netting, ribbon, red stars and mini candy canes.
Hanging from the chandelier--
red and white paper lanterns and candy canes.
Paper lanterns found at Target.
I always have a people ask me if my daughter enjoys having a birthday in the month of December.
Yes! Of course she does!
The minute Christmas decorations go up, she gets all excited!
She sings Christmas songs all year long!
She's started a collection of NOEL ornaments
that hang in her room.
(Her middle name is Noel.)
She has had a few 'holiday themed' birthdays--
Angel party, Gingerbread party, Snow party.
However, some parties have had nothing to do with the holidays-- Princess party, Swimming party, Rockstar party, Bowling party.
I'm sure if you asked her,
she wouldn't want to change her birthday month!
