Christian Easter Decor

The best things about hosting a Link Party, is meeting so many different bloggers.
I love finding new inspiration and making new friends through blogging!
Who knew blogging could be so much fun?

I recently came across this gorgeous Easter display from Janis at All Things Beautiful.

The cross, the scripture, the gate...I love it!
Janis shows you how to make your own green moss cross in her post.

She found the gate in a salvage yard and sewed the vellum-printed scripture onto the gate.

So lovely...I'd like her to come over and duplicate this for my home!

And just look at her Easter table!  Wow!

Did you notice the hymn book and music place mats
Janis made them from old vintage sheet music, Mod Podge and wax paper!  How fun!

And check out her Jesus Easter Tree.
The eggs on the tree represent the new life we can have in Christ.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new is here."
2 Corinthians 5:17

Visit Janis' site, All Things Beautiful to see the details of creating this Tree.
There's a family devotional to download that corresponds with the assembly of this tree.

I loved reading Janis' special connections with displaying a TREE in her home,
and remembering that Christ's death was on a TREE.

Is the decor in your house representing the true meaning of Easter?

One more thing:
I just have to share this amazing Old Window Art that Janis has created
using some architectural photos from her recent trip to England and France.
So fabulous!

Thanks for all the inspiration, Janis!

Don't forget to visit my Springtime Holiday Link Party!
There are so many incredibly creative bloggers out there--that you have to see!

  1. It's lovely Michelle! Thank you so much for such kind words! I LOVE Easter and enjoy celebrating it. Because it's not such a "hustle & bustle" time of year, there seems to be more time to reflect, be still and truly rejoice in the fact that our Savior is Risen! Look forward to sharing more ideas with each other. I'm definitely adding your Easter Garden to my list next year! Blessings...

  2. Let me just add...the Jesus Easter Tree was not my original idea. I have the link to A Holy Experience blog by author Ann Voskamp in my post. Seeing hers just inspired me to make my own for the first time. Here is that link:

  3. Hi Michelle,

Thank you for the inspiration! I looked around and had more decor on rabbits and not enough on our "Redeemer". I'm looking for ideas to keep our "Saviour" center stage when decorating for the holidays (holy days).

Again, thank you and you have a new follower.

  4. These are just beautiful, Michelle. I so love all the ideas here and am halfway through making my own version of the moss covered cross...hopefully I'll get it up before Easter! It is so early this year!

In the meantime, I am linking up the burlap and cross banner I made this year for my mantel.

I love your blog and all your seasonal decor parties! I hope next you'll host something for Memorial Day and July 4th! So fun!

Happy Easter to you and your family! In Jesus' Name,
