Monday

What is it about the s'mores combination of graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate? Why can I never seem to get enough of this tasty treat? I'm not talking about s'mores made over a campfire. I'm talking about all the s'mores dessert mixes that keeping popping up in the stores.

s'more love to you printable     I made the HUGE mistake of buying one of those amazing Fannie May Chocolate Smore's Mix bags and eating the whole thing by myself...yep, didn't share one drop. When I was finished I was looking around for more. It was at this point that I decided I would make myself some more with the chocolate and marshmallows I had in my pantry. I just need a box of Golden Grahams cereal. After a quick trip to the store, I was in business.
Is my version as good as the Fannie May S'mores Mix? Well, not quite, but really, really close. This time I shared some with my husband and of course he loved it! I ended up making him his own stash and told him to hide it from me. My husband has chocolate self-control, I do not.

Warning...if you do not have chocolate self-control, only make this in front of people. Share this with your people, then get it out of your home.

There's not much to this, no real recipe...just 3 ingredients:
-2-3 cups of mini marshmallows
-1 package of dark chocolate chips
-2-3 cups of Golden Grahams

Melt the entire bag of dark chocolate chips. I do this in the microwave. Cook 1 minute and stir. Cook an additional 30 seconds, stir. Cook 20 seconds, stir. Cook another 10 seconds and it should be all melted.

S'mores mix easy recipe

Stir in 2-3 cups of mini marshmallows and 2-3 cups of Golden Grahams cereal. You can decide how chocolatey you want it by reducing the amount of marshmallows and cereal.

Lay mixture on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper and place in fridge until set. (About 30-60 min.)
Break into pieces and place in a ziploc bag, cellophane treat bag or a mason jar.
Tie up with ribbon and the printable tag.
Enjoy.

Saturday

When my friend lost her husband recently, I cried with her over the phone. She told me she couldn't stop her tears. She described her crying as incontrollable, painful, non-stop sobs. My heart ached for her. I imagined her crying out her hurt and pulling tissue after tissue to blot up her tears...and that's when I got this idea.

Make Your Own Tissue Boxes @michellepaigeblogs.com

This is such a simple, yet meaningful sympathy gift to give to anyone going through pain or loss. It will definitely get used and it shows you're thinking of them.
Here's how I made these.

Supplies:
1-2 Tissue boxes
Me & My BIG Ideas Sticker Sheet books (these are filled with encouraging stickers!)
Glue Sticks or double sided tape
Colored card stock
Paper cutter

Tissue Boxes supplies

Measure the sides of the tissue box and cut colored paper to fit.
Choose stickers to decorate the colored paper. I matted many of my stickers with coordinating papers.

Use lots of glue to make the paper stick to the tissue box. Double-sided tape works well, too.
Press down firmly and hold to make it stick.
Decorate all 4 sides.

Sparkling Cider Neighbor Gifts

Here's a quick Christmas gift idea for the neighbors that involves no baking, no packaging and no hassle. We have 16 neighbors on our dead end street, so finding something easy and inexpensive is always a plus!

Quick neighbor gifts @michellepaigeblogs.com

I simply purchased bottles of sparkling cider. It's festive, showy and fun. (Be sure to research and find the best price. The best price in my area was at Walmart for $1.97 a piece.)

I tied on one of these (affiliate link) Popcornopolis popcorn cones. I usually make my favorite Candy Coated Popcorn Recipe for the neighbors (see bottom of post), but this year because of Covid, I decided not to hand make anything.

The neighbors loved these! I left them on their doorsteps.
