So Sweet to Trust in Jesus Easter Printable

It's always a challenge to combine candy bunnies and chocolate eggs with the real meaning of Easter--JESUS!

The old hymn titled, 'Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus' is not an Easter hymn, but I love the words. 

'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His word;

Just to rest upon His promise;

Just to know, Thus saith the Lord.

    Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him,

    How I've proved Him o'er and o'er,

Simply download and print out the tags. Trim them up and attach them to any kind of Easter treat. These can be placed in an Easter basket or care package as well. You could even make them into a bookmark.

I mailed off a few candy care packages to some college kids that aren't able to come home for Easter. I wrote little notes on the back of the tags and placed them in the packages. Couldn't be easier.

For the mini baskets, I used old berry baskets. They're the perfect size to tie on a tag and fill with tissue paper and a few candies.

Bursting Forth Starburst Easter Printable

I've got another bright and fun Easter printable for you! This one is perfect to pair with some Starburst Candies.

I've always loved the Easter praise song, In Christ Alone.
Are you familiar with this song?

I especially love the build up with the music volume and powerful drums as we sing the line about Jesus 'bursting forth'. How incredible and absolutely amazing that Jesus was raised from the dead! He burst out of that grave! Death couldn't hold Him!

Or, you could give a package of Starburst and tape the tag to the package. Quick and easy.
Another idea is to use the 4"x 6" small cellophane bags and slip the tag inside the bag with just a few candies.

Lily of the Valley Easter Gift

He's the Lily of the Valley. He's the bright and morning star....
Are you singing this old time Easter hymn with me?

Are you going to someone's home for Easter? Need a hostess gift? Or maybe an Easter gift for a friend? When I saw the beautiful Easter lilies in the store, I knew they would make the perfect Easter gift.

Purchase a beautiful lily plant. There's so many different varieties of lilies, but I went with this very healthy looking, white lily plant for my mother-in-law.

Print out the tag, click here and tape it to a wooden skewer. I tied on a green bow, just below the tag (optional).

Sign the back of the tag and stick the skewer into the plant. Hand deliver. 
Simple, sweet and a perfect Easter gift.

Gold Egg Pun and Easter Gift

My golden egg story goes something like this.... I was around age 5 or 6. My mom took me to my first community egg hunt. Somehow I only found one egg? Not sure if I didn't understand when to start looking or where to look, but I only found one egg. I ran to my mom crying and reach in my basket to pull out my egg...I had found the gold egg! My mom cheered as I received a special prize from the Easter bunny---a board game. I think it was a Chutes and Ladders game?
Can you even believe I sort of remember that story?
Golden egg moments kind of stick with you.

Have anyone in your life that could use a golden egg?

I don't know if you've noticed, but gold is on trend and has been for quite a while. The trend has trickled down to the candy aisle--and now the Easter candy! Have you tried one of these gold Hershey's peanuts and pretzel eggs? Oh wow!

And you won't believe where I found plastic gold eggs... The Dollar Tree. Gather up gold eggs, or a gold gift bag or even a gold bucket and fill it with gold Easter treats. I used gold tissue and gold curling ribbon to really make a statement.
