S'mores Snack Mix Treat and Printable Tags

     What is it about the s'mores combination of graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate? Why can I never seem to get enough of this tasty treat? I'm not talking about s'mores made over a campfire. I'm talking about all the s'mores dessert mixes that keeping popping up in the stores.

     I made the HUGE mistake of buying one of those amazing Fannie May Chocolate Smore's Mix bags and eating the whole thing by myself...yep, didn't share one drop. When I was finished I was looking around for more. It was at this point that I decided I would make myself some more with the chocolate and marshmallows I had in my pantry. I just need a box of Golden Grahams cereal. After a quick trip to the store, I was in business.
     Is my version as good as the Fannie May S'mores Mix? Well, not quite, but really, really close. This time I shared some with my husband and of course he loved it! I ended up making him his own stash and told him to hide it from me. My husband has chocolate self-control, I do not.
     

Warning...if you do not have chocolate self-control, only make this in front of people. Share this with your people, then get it out of your home.

There's not much to this, no real recipe...just 3 ingredients:
-2-3 cups of mini marshmallows
-1 package of dark chocolate chips
-2-3 cups of Golden Grahams

Melt the entire bag of dark chocolate chips. I do this in the microwave. Cook 1 minute and stir. Cook an additional 30 seconds, stir. Cook 20 seconds, stir. Cook another 10 seconds and it should be all melted.

Stir in 2-3 cups of mini marshmallows and 2-3 cups of Golden Grahams cereal. You can decide how chocolatey you want it by reducing the amount of marshmallows and cereal.

  

Lay mixture on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper and place in fridge until set. (About 30-60 min.)
Break into pieces and place in a ziploc bag, cellophane treat bag or a mason jar.
Tie up with ribbon and the printable tag.

KIND Bar Pun Gift

When you 'kind of' need to thank someone...

When you're looking for a little treat to give to someone and they don't eat candy or gluten--try one of these instead.

These can be for Valentine's Day or any occasion.
You can print out the plain cards or the Valentine cards.

Purchase a box of KIND bars at any grocery store.
Print out a tag. (Scroll down for link.)
Trim tag and tape the tag on a bar.
Pretty simple and very 'kind'.

If you want to get a little fancy, hole punch card and tie on with baker's twine. If you don't have time for that, tape works.

You could even tape a tag on the whole box and give as a gift.

Pizza Puns and Ideas for Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!  Today is the last day of my A to Z Valentines. Whew! We made it! 26 days of valentines is a lot!
Hope you enjoyed the fun and the ideas!  
Today we are finishing up with the Letter Z.
Z is for pizza.

Yes, I realize that pizza does not start with the Letter Z. However, I couldn't bring myself to do another post of zebra or zoo valentines...and I wasn't about to spend any time with zombies! Pizza does have 2 letter z's in it--so pizza it is! Besides, everyone likes pizza, and I make my own rules around here.

Having a pizza party for Valentine's Day is so fun and easy to pull off. We had this Pizza Party for Father's Day, but it can definitely be adapted for Valentine's Day.

Serve heart shaped pizzas for dinner- make your own or pick some up at a local pizza shop that makes them.


Assemble a fruit pizza for dessert. Use a cookie dough crust, cream cheese spread, then sliced fruit.
