A Love Tree

I've got a super-quick idea for you to use at your next celebration.

It's A Love Tree!

A 'tree' covered in reasons why I love my mom.
(Cheesy?  Maybe a little.  Did my mom love it?  Oh yeah!)

If you're a reader of my blog,
you've seen me use my 'branch tree' in a million different ways...like

At Thanksgiving I turned it into a 'Give Thanks Tree'.
We wrote what we were thankful for on each leaf.

My mom's prayer group made a Nuts About You, 'Teacher Appreciation Tree'.
We wrote little thank you notes to the teachers on acorns.

In February I decorated the branches with hearts and valentines.
A Heart Tree.

At Easter time I made a 'Spring Tree' with eggs, crosses and birdhouses.

I've even made a 'Gift Card Tree' for Mom.
The tree held love notes, flowers and gift cards!

But this tree is a little different...

My mom's birthday always falls during Mother's Day week-end.
This means she gets extra special attention!
I took how old she was...(sixty-something) and made that exact number of paper slips.
{Don't worry, Mom...I won't tell how old you are!}

(You could easily do this for an anniversary too!)

I simply wrote on each slip of paper, hole punched it...

and stuck it on the tree.

The 'older' the person...the more fabulous the tree looks!
Just think how full and beautiful the tree will look---when you turn 90 years old, Mom!

Miss any of my Mother's Day/Mom's Birthday posts?
